Director Samantha Wise of the CSM Bennie G. Adkins State Veterans Home addresses MOAA Wiregrass

At a recent dinner meeting of the Wiregrass chapter of the Military Officers Association of America (MOAA), the speaker was Samantha Wise who is the Director of the CSM Bennie G. Adkins State Veterans Home in Enterprise. She discussed various issues such as when the facility is scheduled to reopen and how military veterans can apply for admission. MOAA is recognized as the leader among US veteran military organizations who work with Congress on the needs and interests of active and retired military members. MOAA is the nation’s largest and most influential association of military officers. It is an advocate of a strong national defense and represents the interests of military officers, enlisted soldiers, and their families at every stage of their careers. The Wiregrass Chapter has been meeting at Rucker since 1959. They have dinner meetings at the Landing (at Rucker) every other month. The chapter website is www.moaawiregrass.org. Magnolia Wealth Management Speaks At MOAA Dinner

At a recent dinner meeting of the Wiregrass Chapter of the Military Officers Association of America (MOAA), the speakers were Ed Cox and Forest Ryals from Magnolia Wealth Management located in Dothan. They gave an insightful presentation on wealth management with an emphasis on tax planning and how it affects future personal financial goals. MOAA is recognized as the leader among US veteran military organizations that work with Congress on the needs and interests of active and retired military members. MOAA is the nation’s largest and most influential association of military officers. It is an advocate of a strong national defense and represents the interest of military officers, enlisted soldiers, and their families at every stage of their careers. The Wiregrass Chapter of the Military Officers Association of America (MOAA) and its members recently donated $1,000 to the Fort Rucker Holiday Food Assistance Program to benefit the Fort Rucker military community. This program is administered by the Army Community Service (ACS) department at Fort Rucker. Pictured are Lieutenant Colonel (Ret) Loel Ewart, the chapter treasurer, and Ms. Jo Anne Close, who is an Army Emergency Relief Officer and Financial Counselor with ACS.
